Netcare Akasia Hospital opened its doors in 1993 to serve the private healthcare needs of the community and has since grown to a 162-bed facility incorporating a new state-of-the-art ICU and surgical ward. Our hospital is easily accessible from the major arterial routes from northern Pretoria and is well equipped for medical and nursing staff to render quality care to our patients. Our holistic approach to mother and baby health and wellness is reflected in our range of services which include, in addition to gynaecology and obstetrics, antenatal classes, breastfeeding guidance and support, baby milestone monitoring and immunisations. Our modern maternity facilities incorporate a neonatal intensive care unit.
